Project Corrections/Time Spent:
I corrected the spelling on my photodesign project – 2 minutes
I updated the markings on the pattern piece on my letterhead and business card so they would be accurate because it had conflicting markings – 5 minutes
I enlarged the photo on the flier, shifted the title bar to overlap the photo, and adjusted the alignment for the date and time information. This improved the white space shape and overall layout – 20 minutes

How to use master pages in a document for easy updating of multiple pages.
Future Application of Visual Media:
As a web design and development major, the skills I’ve learned are invaluable. When I combine them with my eye for detail and alignment addiction, I will design and layout sites that will be pleasing and functional for my clients and theirs.

Jocelyn, I love the look and layout of your portfolio. I like how you were able to incorporate that paisley pattern into a block and how well it went with the other solid blocks you used. You also did a great job on your presentation/speech, you sounded very professional and well practiced. You should be really proud of all of your designs, they all turned out very nice!

Excellent work with the paisleys! It adds some interest without being oppressive. The flip works great to be different enough and still keep things unified. I think maybe you’ve been to career workshop and have refined your ‘me in thirty seconds’. Thanks for all the weeks you bailed me out with a last-minute critique. I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future – perhaps our paths will cross again.

Thanks, Dustin. Your “me in thirty seconds” made me laugh because I’ve heard my husband us that term so much. I have taken pointers from him, but I’ve never felt like I did it very well. I hope our paths cross again too. You’ve been great to work with.
